"Catriona,” a Scottish lass portrayed in a novel by Robert Louis Stephensen, is the name christening this magnificent 57’ HERRESHOFF BOUNTY. Built to exacting standards and traditional construction this great yacht demanded only the best in marine carving. The Lunenburg Chiselworks rose to that occasion and created this stern badge and trail boards, a design of noted marine artist William Gilkerson. Decoration of this calibre is reminiscent of the days when great yachts raced the waters of the Chesapeake and Nantucket Sound. Catriona has leapt from the pages and is now as free as the wind.
